I was inspired to draw a pregnant woman as I believe mothers play an extremely important role in nurturing their children’s lives. They bring life into the world and give so much of themselves to their family. With this, I also take inspiration from my mother; she takes care of me and my younger brother to the best of her abilities. I have a medical condition and, because of this, she takes the necessary action to ensure my condition stabilises. When I was 8, she took a year off from work to bring me to my appointments. To me, mothers show so much courage in their everyday lives. They represent pillars of courage, strength and hope.
