Hello! Through my artwork, I have attempted to depict women of different races working together against the recent virus, Covid-19. I aimed to show that women can pursue demanding career paths like medicine but still be able to lead a normal life without being expected to leave their jobs for their families. To show that she is more than just her family [a mother, a wife, a daughter] but also a successful lady. Studies have shown that over 43% of women leave their jobs to take care of their children. While taking care of a child is both the parents’ job, women are more likely to quit their jobs to take care of them. Thus, I drew this to show that working women can lead a normal life like men. I also drew this as an appreciation to women who are sacrificing their lives to work in the frontline. Protecting us from this deadly virus.
