In this piece, I want to convey that the world is new, with its skyscrapers, technology, and so much more. This is represented in the bright blues, greens, and yellows. This world is new, yet us women we are not.

Through the black and white face, I want to show that we are not new, unlike the world. We come into the world with the same past, respect and inequality. We are not given the opportunity to show that we are more. I live in a place where I am given that opportunity, but I know that there are so many people who are not. This piece is dedicated to those people. All girls and all women, emerge and conquer. Take your opportunity.
