According to the World Health Organization (WHO), childhood obesity is described as “one of the most serious public health challenges of the 21st century”. School children like Jane* here could be at risk of childhood obesity due to unhealthy eating habits. To combat childhood obesity and future health problems in adults, Whizmeal integrates technology with meal planning to ensure children eat healthy meals in school, while educating schools officials, parents, and students are educated on the importance of healthy eating habits.
Whizmeal is a recipient of Impact Forum Social Enterprise Scholarship and IIX Foundation, formerly known as Shujog, has provided the company with complimentary impact assessment.
