In 2026 IIX Foundation launched IIX PREM GIVES, an employee-driven grant initiative, built on a simple belief: our people on the ground know their communities best. In this inaugural cohort, our teams in Indonesia and Bangladesh nominated grassroots nonprofits making real, tangible change. We’re proud to introduce five organizations selected to receive catalytic funding for high-impact work across Asia and beyond. Each grantee represents a powerful, community-driven solution and a commitment to lasting impact. In the following slides, meet the changemakers we’re backing:
Surovi: Narir Khomota | Bangladesh
In Dhaka’s low-income communities, limited digital skills restrict women’s voices and economic opportunities; this program addresses the gap through a three-month computer literacy course for women aged 15–45, training 160 women in 2026 across four cohorts in essential skills like word processing, spreadsheets, and digital communication, with graduates earning certificates to boost employability and share knowledge within their communities.
Give Bangladesh Foundation: Thousand Smiles | Bangladesh
Many children live with untreated cleft conditions affecting their health and social integration; through the Thousand Smiles campaign, the foundation will provide 20 free surgeries in 2026 via two surgical camps, along with outreach and post-operative care to ensure lasting impact and renewed confidence.
FIRST Skin Foundation: Diya & Aliya’s Friends (DAF) Fund | Global
For families managing ichthyosis, a rare chronic skin condition, care costs can be overwhelming. FIRST Skin Foundation’s Diya & Aliya’s Friends Fund provides direct financial relief to families of children living with ichthyosis through two annual grant cycles. Since 2013, it has supported 127 families and 152 children across 33 countries.
1000 Days Fund: Kader Academy for CHWs | Indonesia
Rural Indonesia faces high child stunting rates due to limited access to health information. 1000 Days Fund addresses this through Kader Academy, which will train 1,200 community health workers in 2026 across four districts. By providing digital training and certification, the program will support 600 mothers and children under five (CU5) with improved nutrition and stunting prevention guidance.
Ecosystem Impact Foundation | Indonesia
In late November 2025, severe flooding devastated communities across Indonesia, including Aceh and other provinces. Ecosystem Impact Foundation is actively delivering life-saving emergency relief to the hardest-hit and most isolated communities in Aceh. Using helicopter and air transport logistics, they provide emergency food and clean drinking water, medical supplies, temporary shelter for displaced households, and generators for emergency facilities, ensuring aid reaches areas inaccessible by road.
